Dr. David Schuval is currently Chief of the department of Surgery at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
Dr. Schuval is Board Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is trained to perform laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of colon cancer as well as benign diseases such as diverticulitis, polyps, inflammatory bowel disease and rectal prolapse. In addition, he performs common anorectal procedures such as hemorrhoidal repair, treatment of anal fissures and correction of incontinence using modern non-surgical or minimally-invasive techniques which result in less pain and quicker recovery.
Dr. Schuval has been a Specialist in Colon and Rectal Surgery, in St. Louis, MO, since 1992.
